His teaching and research focus is on the development of procurement and material group strategies, cost management, and negotiation management. He has been using this interdisciplinary knowledge for years as a senior advisor in practice-oriented negotiation support for companies in various industries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Alexander started his career at the international strategy consultancy McKinsey. During his 10 years at McKinsey, he advised various industries on strategic purchasing issues and, among other things, was jointly responsible for building up the purchasing practice for Sub-Saharan Africa from Johannesburg, South Africa. He then gained further practical experience in purchasing and negotiations, especially in the automotive and supplier industry. After training as a banker, Alexander studied business administration at the University of Augsburg, completed an integrated MBA in the US, and received his doctorate at the University of Augsburg in 2003.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Gregor Gareiss<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>co-founder and partner<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Gregor has over 20 years of professional experience in various positions in management consultancy and industry. His expertise in risk management runs like a red thread through his career, most recently as Group Risk Officer of a listed, internationally renowned industrial services group. As a certified internal auditor and fraud examiner, he gained a wide range of experience in international audits of projects and legal units, among other things, on business models, processes, cultures and people. After studying business administration at the University of Augsburg, Gregor began his career in the risk advisory service of an international auditing company (Big Four). This was followed by a change to an implementation-oriented management consultancy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Gregor also brings all these facets to the field of &#8220;negotiation support&#8221;. Because here too, risk and opportunity meet and must be balanced in a customer-oriented manner. With the holistic preparation for negotiations, he has discovered and perfected a tool for himself that makes the increase in negotiation success tangible because it works. His experience in this field includes all types of professional negotiations in a demanding work environment, right up to classic purchasing negotiations based on structured and fact-based negotiation preparation.
